Plot Summary:A film noir centering around a hard-boiled, stylish kingpin drug dealer, called King David, who returns to his hometown seeking redemption--but ends up only finding violent death. King David's final moments are spent with Paul, an aspiring journalist who knew him for just a few minutes; yet King David would forever more have an impact on Paul's life. Half preacher, half Satan, and all street smarts, King David had recorded the story of his exploits on audiotape, leaving behind an often-poetic sermon on villainy and its consequences. The tapes reveal that the cycle of violence and retribution, which his actions have spawned, has come back to him, full circle, as he suspected they might all along.

像一个加长版的MV，也像唐宋传奇小说或者元明白话小说的感觉，单刀直入，一步一坑，因果循环，BangBangBang。黑人设定的种族视角非常明显，分明就是要与“白人片”划清界限。想起去年在charity shop看到一堆黑人流行小说，随手一番，从封面到内容细节，简直就是另一个极乐世界，哈哈哈。
