Plot Summary:IF YOU BUILD IT follows designer-activists Emily Pilloton and Matthew Miller to rural Bertie County, the poorest in North Carolina, where they work with local high school students to help transform both their community and their lives. Living on credit and grant money and fighting a change-resistant school board, Pilloton and Miller lead their students through a year-long, full-scale design and build project that does much more than just teach basic construction skills: it shows ten teenagers the power of design-thinking to re-invent not just their town but their own sense of what's possible.

系里组织看的片子。每次被问为什么学现在这个专业我都答不上来 但好像在片子里看到了答案。还有就是做点简单的木工真有意思。
戳中人心的片子。里面的小男孩解释自己不爱读书是说我爸爸不爱读书，祖父也不爱读书所以我也遗传了不爱读书，笑！让我想起高中的时候自己做了个桥的模型，那时候模型考量好坏沉重和美观，最后我们设计的桥又美观又沉重，当时觉得好骄傲。如果心中有梦就要坚持，要相信最后梦想的实现所有的人都会喝彩

好棒呀 虽然觉得项目的成功不能掩盖组织的失败 片子很乌托邦也挺宣传的 简直就像长篇筹款视频 但是对于想做NGO和心中有愿景的人来说还是很有感染力
